No alliance with TDP: BJP MP K Laxman clarifies

HYDERABAD: Amid speculations that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will get back into the fold of National Democratic Alliance again, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) parliamentary board member K Laxman clarified that there is no such alliance between the TDP and the BJP.
“It is only speculation as the BJP will contest in Telangana without any alliance,” Laxman said.
Laxman — who hails from Telangana — is a Rajya Sabha MP from Uttar Pradesh.
According to Laxman, in Andhra Pradesh, the party is in alliance with actor Pawan Kalayan’s Jana Sena.
“The BJP is also growing day by day in Andhra Pradesh. There is no discussion on the alliance between the BJP and the TDP," he added.
